Exclusive Use of Vehicle

A unit specifically set aside for a shipment which is charged based upon actual weight and subject to specific minimums. These exclusive units for a shipment are allowed upon request of the customer and are subject to availability.

Expedited Service

A special agreement to transport items by a specific date and usually assesses a higher fee for the service.

Extra Labor

An hourly charge for performing requested services for which specific fees are not listed. There is typically a 15 minute minimum. Some extra labor fees include going into crawlspaces or attics to remove or place goods or packing and unpacking customer-provided boxes and containers.

Extra Pickup or Delivery

Any additional stops besides the pickup and delivery locations included in the linehaul/transportation charge.
